 Lord, when I pray
And hear not the answers To what I think really matters, Let me have faith in the masters So I can receive their guidance. And when I go into the silence, Let the strength be given As well as your holy light to find it. Allow me to see the signs you send In such mysterious ways, So I may smile and know That you will guide me the way to go. And when confusion and doubt descend Let my apprehension be forgiven So I may continue on the path you’ve given. For I wish to serve the divine plan To create peace on Earth And continue as a disciple. And when love is hidden from me, Allow me the grace to still believe That there is a purpose I am here to serve. Allow me to know blessings will come So I learn that life shows me many solutions And the lessons I learn will produce them. Allow me to find a better way to choose The path that l need to best serve you To live with your love and be free Til heaven on Earth can be seen. And Lord, so I pray That we all can learn a better way to live Grant us compassion and the grace to forgive Til we can find a way To live in peace one day. Lord, take away all the walls of fear, Take away from me all the hatred And that lurking anger of ego that hides In the hidden corners of my mind that appear. Let me erase all those thoughts That limit me and want to fight The ones that I do not understand, The part of myself that ego’s will commands. I listen to the voice of light, The inner Spirit that guides life, I feel the Presence of the flame, The nameless fire that eternally remains In this life and the ones to come In the transition to serve the holy one. The one that lives forever more That rises up to claim the power Aligned with the Holy Mother’s mercy That delivers us to Christ the Son. Lord, let me just be with you And open my heart to your piercing truth To let good and bad be transformed By your mystic alchemy of love, I'm reborn. Thank you for the patient kindness you bestow When I am lost and feeling low, I turn to you and reach out my hand And I know you are always there To guide me ever onward Til you touch my life again
