wondering about success
and what it really means
what are we demanding out of life
to make our selves happy

is it in how many likes we get
or how high are our standards are set
or the neighborhood we live in
or the kinda car we drive
making a million dollars
is it finding a loving partner
and beautiful family that we like
or is it being famous
or being a CEO in control
or maybe having your own tv show

and what about the genius’s
who looked at what it takes
to create a real solution
to help the human race

did they think they were successful
or were the driven to do more
to solve problems this world faces
did they find what they where looking for

what does success really mean
I really wonder if what we seek
can be enough to be complete
to live out the standards of this worldly dream

or could success be an inside job
to be content with what we’ve got
to be kind to every living thing
and love God and just enjoy the life we lead
