so God we need to have a little talk
can u do an interview with me
cause things are heating up here
and I’m tired of all the misery

I know when times get hard
we take more time to pray
but I sure like that zone of comfort
and I sure could use some of that today

I do want you to bless all those
who help send good thoughts and prayers my way
and give my love to Mother Mary
and all the Angels that watch over the pathway

and I have to say I’m grateful
even when times get tough
there so many lessons learned
and it’s still really never good enough

you’ve given me this trust in you
you’ve given me the strength
to see so much love at work
and I appreciate your presence when I meditate

and I know there are those who doubt you
it could be they don’t understand
how your always right there for us
and how you do work through Jesus
and those who lend a helping hand
perhaps they just can’t see
that there is a higher plan

I can always count on you
to be there and get me through
and I know the hard times will pass
for they never last
so thank you God for this time
and our little interlude
