who am I trying to please
for every scribe follows these lines
of what God and life can relate
from the filter of what the mind dictates


the Master speaks in many ways
for the energy of life is a mirror I’m told
and when we look deep into that reflection
perhaps we can cross the mystic threshold


sometimes the words come
in the colors of dawn
or the sound of a morning dove
there’s always some communication
from the Source and What life shows


there are questions and there are answers
that come in so many ways
and I am listening and trying to hear
the power of those silent prayers


the music of Gods minstrels
the director of the angels choir
all are in tune to the same Creator
and in harmony with Gods smile


even if I have no way
to capture the mystery of time and space
from that inner place where I meditate
In a mystic thread I try to communicate
As the ancient scribe in me still seeks to share
whatever is dictated from there to here
