oh these hungry ghosts on earth
so many in hiding their need who hurt
and see not their value or true worth
yet only wish to be freed of pains curse

Lord so many have this emptiness they hide
that part that so longs for God to find
to be opened to a higher state of mind
in the presence within where the soul resides

and this longing for a better life
is just the yearning of the remembrance
of Gods brilliant presence of light
that is our true calling and destiny
to bring forth into our deepest being

so feed our Souls lord I pray
and let your love be alive in us each day
help us through all of life's tests
to let Goodwill guide us to do our best

to feed the hungry ghosts that hide
in the shadows of past memories inside
let them be fed with your nectar of light
to become agents of your love in life
